Female Actresses voice their opinion about abusers in the entertainment industry

Whilst the public has been questioning the deafening silence of entertainers with regards to the abuse of women within the entertainment industry. Several female creatives have voiced their opinion against the likes of Arthur and many other abusers in the industry.

When Cici’s tell-all video interview about the abuse she experienced at the hands of her ex-boyfriend Arthur Mafokate went viral on Monday, the nation erupted in an uproar of disapproval against the 999 music boss.

The likes of actress and presenter – Bonnie Mbuli were one of the few entertainers to finally speak out against the abuse.Bonnie Mbuli did not mince her words and expressed her empathy towards CiCi.

Actress, Rami Chuene, who has also experienced abuse at the hands of men she knew also mentioned that she will no longer sit back and not call out her peers in the industry or even in her private life. Even if this means the end of friendships and relationships.

Actress and writer Portia Gumede who is also one of the writers for Mzansi Magic’s The Queen also chimed in on the abuse in the industry and how people should not be hired if found guilty of such a crime.

We really need to wake up and smell the coffee, some of these artists are not what they’re cut out to be.

Bonnie Mbuli also shared a story of a fellow actress who was also se.xually assaulted by a fellow actor on set.
