Mahlatse Lekota is popularly known for her role as Xolelwa on generations the legacy. She is a young actor who has just started her career in a great way and is looking forward to land more interesting roles on new productions in the country and also internationally if possible. She joined Generations the legacy in 2015.
Before Generations the legacy, she also had a role on Scandal as a school girl. She also won an award of Best Scene in Drama. On Generations the legacy she is acting in Pedi and encountered a bit of a challenge to use the Pedi language on the script but managed to do well and is now used to her Xolelwa character.
She was also part of SABC 2 drama titled Thola. She had her acting training at The National School of Arts. She is hoping for more in the industry and not looking for what might happen tomorrow as she is taking each chance at a time. Mahlatse has a lot to offer the South African TV industry.
As Xolelwa, she is a trouble girl who lived in the streets and survived through begging. She is Lesedi‘s friend and both were living on the streets before they were afforded a place to stay, with Lesedi living with the Diales and Xolelwa living with Getty before getting her own place where she shares with a lady friend.
Now she has a boyfriend who is married and using her. She seems not aware of what might happen to her later. Instead of listening to people who cares for her, she is busy making bad decisions which will destroy her life.
