Nomfundo Radebe : Meet The Woman Who Faked Her Own Abduction And Had Mzansi Searching For Her.
Abductions and GBV are a serious issue in South Africa and there have been numerous campaigns against GBV and people going missing. Everyday many people go missing in Mzansi. However, faking your own abduction is a really serious matter. What’s worse is actually blaming another person for it and the person gets victimised on social media.
Such is the case for one Nomfundo Radebe who had the nation looking for her after she posted cryptic messages on Twitter about being abducted by a certain Drew. She even went on as far as posting Drew’s number who is based in Cape Town. South Africans naturally bombarded Drew with phone calls and threatened to kill him unless he released Nomfundo. To make matters worse, Drew is not even South African, he is from Nigeria.
After getting the backlash from Twitter, Nomfundo tried to explain her side of the story and how people had it wrong.
When someone genuinely cries for help, they might be ignored because of people like you #Nomfundo. This is really disturbing. I hope that Drew takes this seriously and use the screen shots to your tweet to sue you for defamation of character. Wena you deserve to be sued or jailed pic.twitter.com/fyVEZjAOWM

Nomfundo. It is time to be honest. You know you love attention. You know you were enjoying the attention this whole thing was getting in the beginning hence the tweets of cell numbers and I'm safe and help. You enjoy manipulating people and watching them squirm but the problem is https://t.co/75UkR9VvYv

That you are an very emotional person and an overthinker which makes you trip on your lies and mind games. That's when the feelings of being overwhelmed and panic set in. You can't control that part unfortunately.

You need to break from this pattern of attention seeking, manipulation, lying and mind games. I know it serves you because it is connected to the things you went through as a child. You need to heal and let go so that you can embrace the adult you.
